Prairie Hills USD 113 is a rural school district with two campuses located Sabetha, Kansas and Axtell, Kansas.

The Sabetha side of the district has a student population of approximately 800 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. One elementary school, a 6-8 middle school and a 9-12 high school comprise the attendance centers located in Sabetha.

Sabetha is a thriving manufacturing community of 2500 whose population is said to double when workers come into town Monday-Friday. It has an ideal location, with 60 minutes of Topeka and St. Joseph, Mo and within 90 minutes of the Kansas City airport, Lincoln, NE and Manhattan.

The district has a strong reputation for its academic and athletic success, for its dedication to students, staff, and the community, and for its focus on providing a comprehensive program of instruction to meet the varied needs of all students.
