POSITION: High School CTE Teacher- Human Services

DESCRIPTION: Full-time high school teaching position in the CTE department. The specific teaching assignment will be based on the candidate's endorsements and experience. Teaching responsibilities are likely to include a combination of introductory and advanced culinary arts, fashion design/merchandising, interior design, child development, work-based learning experiences, and consumer economics.

Candidate must be self-driven, knowledgeable, flexible, and student-centered. Strong communication skills are necessary. Candidate must have the skills and mindset needed to be an effective member of a collaborative team focused on continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with secondary endorsements in Food and Consumer Science (FACS)

STARTING SALARY: Regionally competitive per district salary schedule
