Per Diem Substitute Teacher - Districtwide

The North Babylon Union Free School District, is seeking qualified Per Diem Substitute Teachers for the 20252026 school year.

Position: Per Diem Substitute Teacher

Start Date: Ongoing 20252026 School Year

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and maintain classroom management in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
• Implement lesson plans as provided by the teacher or building administration.
• Create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment for all students.
• Maintain professional communication with staff and administration.

Qualifications:

• New York State Teacher Certification preferred (all content areas considered).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different grade levels and subject areas as needed.
