Position Overview
Granger Christian School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Christian educator to serve as a Secondary Science Teacher for grades 6-12. Primary teaching responsibilities may include Life Science, Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, and potentially Physics.
The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for scientific discovery while helping students understand God's creation through a biblical worldview. This position is committed to academic excellence, spiritual development, and the education of the whole child-intellectually, socially, physically, and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities
- Integrate biblical truth and a Christian worldview into all areas of science instruction.
- Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous lessons using hands-on learning, experiments, and laboratory investigations.
- Foster a safe, structured, and encouraging classroom environment that promotes both learning and stewardship.
- Assess and monitor student progress through a variety of methods including tests, projects, labs, and class participation.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student growth and achievement.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic progress and student development.
- Collaborate with faculty and administration through meetings, devotions, and professional development opportunities.
- Support the mission and culture of the school both inside and outside the classroom.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Science Education, or a related field required.
- Valid state teaching license with appropriate science endorsement preferred.
- ACSI certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
- Previous secondary science teaching experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of scientific concepts, instructional best practices, and classroom technology.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the school day.
- Ability to lift, move, and organize standard laboratory equipment and classroom materials.
