Duties

Plan and teach High School English/Language Arts Classes
Potential to teach AP/Honors level courses
Maintain accurate records of student progress
Work cooperatively with colleagues.
Evaluate student progress and communicate this progress with parents
Administer and develop assessments for the purpose of assessing student competency levels
Establish and maintain standards of student behavior
Supervision responsibilities as assigned
Participate in faculty committees and sponsorship of student activities
Analyze data to determine curriculum decisions and path

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English/Language Arts, valid PEL with HS endorsement in English, preferred expertise in knowledge and teaching of HS English, strong organizational and communication skills.

Salary/Benefits
