English & Language Arts Teacher- Livingston Campus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Instruction & Curriculum:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ELA instruction aligned to Ohio Academic Content Standards and district curriculum.

• Integrate reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills into daily lessons.

• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with IEPs, 504 plans, and English Language Learners.

• Assessment & Data:

• Develop and administer formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.

• Analyze assessment data to inform instruction and provide targeted interventions.

• Classroom Environment:

• Create a positive, respectful, and culturally responsive classroom environment conducive to learning.

• Implement effective classroom management strategies following district and building expectations.

• Technology Integration:

• Incorporate technology tools and digital platforms to enhance learning and student engagement.

• Use district-adopted Learning Management Systems (LMS) and grading platforms effectively.

• Collaboration:

• Collaborate with colleagues in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to plan instruction, analyze data, and support student achievement.

• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and support staff regarding student progress.

• Professional Growth:

• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in literacy instruction and pedagogy.

• Additional Duties:

• Supervise students in non-instructional settings as assigned.

• Attend staff meetings, parent conferences, and school events as required.
