Three Springs, Inc. has successfully helped boys and girls for the past 23 years. Three Springs of Tuskegee is a Medium Risk Secure Facility operated exclusively for the Alabama Department of Youth Services. It provides comprehensive, challenging, and safe services for adolescent males ages 12 to 18. Three Springs of Tuskegee focuses on maladaptive behaviors and provides rehabilitative services including cognitive behavioral therapy through individual, group, and family counseling. The program utilizes a highly effective therapeutic adventure programming as well as Positive Peer Culture (PPC) therapy to emphasize values and team building. Job Duties Under the supervision of the Director of Education, the Vocational Teacher provides direct vocational services to student population using professionally and educationally acceptable methods and techniques. Job Requirements Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and current state vocational Teaching Certification. Must have one year experience in vocational field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be capable of relating to people in a manner to disseminate information in a clear and understandable format. Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
