Job Title: High School Band Teacher Company: Council Bluffs Community School District  Location: Council Bluffs, IA Description: Description: Working in a high school with grades 9 through 12. Job Summary: Successful teaching experience preferred. Evidence of ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships and work collaboratively with staff, students, and community. Well organized. Effectively communicates with others. Teams with other staff to conduct music programs. Motivates students to successfully participate in band and music programs. Prepares students for concerts and contests. Knowledge of current directions and developments in high school band and related curriculum. Knowledge of the technical aspects of production. Maintain an active band program throughout the school year. Willingness to participate in continued professional growth and development. Demonstrated experience in recruitment and growth of an instrumental music program.
